The Cotswold Workshop Ethos

Where Historic Techniques Meet Contemporary Living

Nestled in Minster Lovell within the historic Windrush Valley of Oxfordshire, Cotswold Woodcraft & Joinery Ltd operates at the nexus of time-honoured British woodworking and contemporary architectural specification.

Unlike industrialized modular cabinet suppliers, we reject synthetic composite substitutes and generic dimensions. Every commission is custom-engineered from raw timber flitches, conditioned in our workshop to 8–10% moisture equilibrium for interior stability, and hand-jointed with through dovetails, drawbored mortises, and custom profiles.

  • Listed Building Sensitivity: Accredited heritage solutions approved by conservation officers.
  • Complete Material Traceability: Certified FSC® and PEFC British Oak, Walnut, and Ash.
  • Generational Workmanship: Backed by comprehensive workshop warranties and maintenance guidance.
